Step One:  Come to the Henry M. Flagler Main Office and request your Parent Portal Pin.

 

Step Two:  Create a Parent Portal Account by going to www.dadeschools.net and clicking on the Parent icon.

 

Step Three:  Follow the instructions on how to create your own Parent Portal Account.  Please make note of the ID number you are given, and keep it saved on your phone or in a safe location where it is easy to find.  This number will start with the letter P and be followed by six numbers: P_ _ _ _ _ _

 

Step Four:  Using your child's MDCPS student ID number, and your parent pin, add each child to your parent portal.

 

You can use the Parent Portal to:

• Check your child's current grades in the electronic gradebook 

• Check your child's attendance 

• Check you child's nine weeks grades 

• Apply to Magnet Schools 

• Get a volunteer ID number - Please note that your Volunteer ID number will be your Parent Portal Login Number P_ _ _ _ _ _.  Completing the Volunteer form will activate that number as an approved MDCPS volunteer.
